We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for planning and executing innovative and practical menus in collaboration with our front of house staff, including the bar and barista teams. Your culinary expertise will drive the success of our operation by delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Key Responsibilities: Menu Creation and Planning: Develop innovative and practical menus that reflect our shared vision and satisfy the preferences of our clientele. Costing: Ensure menu items are priced appropriately to maintain profitability while delivering high-quality dishes. Inventory and Ordering: Manage inventory levels effectively and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed. Waste Management: Implement strategies to minimize food waste and optimize kitchen efficiency. Collaboration with Bar and Barista Teams: Work closely with front of house staff to coordinate operations and deliver seamless service. Management of Kitchen Staff: Lead and mentor a small team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Collaboration with Pop-ups and Special Events: Participate in and contribute to the success of special events and pop-up collaborations. Food Prep and Service Shifts: Take a hands-on approach to food preparation and ensure smooth service during shifts. Qualifications: - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or similar establishment. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Passion for culinary innovation. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities.About UsHi-Note is a radio bar located in the heart of Alphabet City.
